Aamir Hussain Khan (born 14 March 1965) is an Indian film actor, director and producer who has established himself as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema. His wife Kiran Rao is an Indian film producer, screenwriter, and director also. Kiran Rao was born into a Konkani family on 7 November, 1973. She was raised in Calcutta where she attended Loreto House and La Martiniere Calcutta. In 1992, her parents decided to leave Calcutta so she shifted to Mumbai. In 2011, Aamir acted in a Film named Dhobi Ghat which was written and Directed by His Wife Kiran Rao.
Aamir Starting his career as a child actor. He appeared as a child artist in his uncle Nasir Hussain’s film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973). Aamir has won many Filmfare Awards and has a great contricution to Indian Cinema through his eye opening movies like Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par and Peepli Live. Aamir Khan was first married to Reena Dutta, who had a small part in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, on April 18, 1986. They have two children, a son named Junaid and a daughter, Ira. The couple separated in 2002 and Aamir married Kiran Rao, who had been an assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the filming of Lagaan.
