Jimmy Shergill is married to Priyanka Puri from Delhi and they have a son named Veer Shergill. Some of his very popular movies are My Name is Khan, Delhi Heights, Munna Bhai MBBS, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, A Wednesday, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Tanu Weds Manu.
He started his career with Maachis Movie, a movie based on terrorism in North India. The film was critically acclaimed and did reasonably well at the box office.
