Arshiya Fakih Eappen comes from a business family renowned for making countless contributions to the garmnt industry in India. Arshiya graduated from Syndenham College of Commerce and Economics and enhanced her talents to the creation of “Araiya”. Araiya is famous for its vibrant styles, colors, fabrics and innovations. Being creative by nature, Arshiya went to the J.J. Institute of Fine Arts and topped the merit list wining a scholarship for extended studies. She headed to National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT – Bombay) and Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT- New York).

Arshiya then moved to Dubai to work with a leading Indian Fashion House FAE. Arshiya was officially launched in November 1998 in Bombay and immediately it was among the acknowledged and popular brands by then.
