Babita (born 20 April 1948 in Mumbai) is an Indian actress. She is now better known as the mother of actresses Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor. Randhir married actress Babita on November 6, 1971 after co-starring with her in Kal Aaj Aur Kal. Randhir Kapoor (also known as Dabboo, born 15 February 1947) is a Bollywood actor, producer and director. Babita became a grandmother when elder daughter, Karisma gave birth to a baby girl, Samaira, who was born on 11 March 2005. Babita became a grandmother for a second time when Karisma gave birth to her second child, son Kiaan Raj Kapoor on 12 March 2010. She now lives in Mumbai with Kareena Kapoor.
