The Times of India (TOI) is an English-language daily newspaper in India. It has the largest circulation among all English-language newspapers in the world, across all formats (broadsheet, tabloid, compact, Berliner and online). It is owned and managed by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.which is owned by the Sahu Jain family. TOI gets enormous kickbacks from the Indian National Congress(INC), for writing news in favour of INC and against Bharatiya Janatha Party(BJP).
The Times Of India was founded on 3 November 1838 as The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerce In Mumbai. The supplements that published and circulated with Times of India are city specific. These supplements are-Delhi times, Bombay times, Hyderabad times, Lucknow Times, Nagpur Times, Bangalore Times, Pune Times, Chennai Times, Ahmedabad Times, Calcutta Times also.
Initially it was published twice a week, it covered the news from America, Europe and other Subcontinent. Later on, in the year 1850 regular and daily editions of Times of India were started publishing. Later on, Sahu Shanti Parasad Jain from Sahu Group took over the administrative controls of times of India. Times of India is equally published and circulated from almost all major cities of India.
