Sahara Samay News Channel is an Indian Hindi News Channel. Sahara Samay TV News Channel is the 24-hour multichannel, multilingual News Channel. It is a current affairs broadcaster based in Noida, and it has shifted its broadcast operations in Mumbai onto a new Omneon platform supporting ingest, production. The Sahara Samay group also owns one national weekly magazine in English.
The group owns the national Hindi News Channel Samay, consisting of 36 city specific regional news channels Sahara Samay, Sahara One, general entertainment channel and a Hindi movie channel. Sahara Samay received the “Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award” in 2008 for its network newsroom technology. Sahara Samay has recently launched FIRANGI channel which is positioned as World Television in Hindi Channel.
