You can’t really call it traveling if you’re in a new country and you head directly to an American chain for a meal. When in Rome (or Buenos Aires or Beirut), enjoy some of the most exotic dishes as you jet-set. Just don’t forget your nerve!

  • Argentina

  • A heladerías, or ice cream parlor,is the coolest destination in Buenos Aires, a decidedly European-flavored city. Exotic and wonderful ice cream flavors will satisfy even the most discerning palate. Banana with dulce de leche, kumquats in whiskey and malbec-flavored ice creams are just three unusual must-tries, says luxury travel expert Leah Reilley of Artisans of Leisure.
