The Chandigarh College of Architecture,also known as CCA is a specialized college imparting education and research in the field of Architecture. It is a premier architectural institution of the entire north-western region of India covering the States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir as well as the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Sir J.J college of architecture is considered one of the foremost institutions of Architecture in India and is a recognized college of architecture all over the world.The origin can be traced to the founding of a Draftsman’s Class, started with a view to produce men with a practical and really useful knowledge, fit to be employed in an Architect’s office attached to the Sir J.J School of Arts in 1896.

The School of Planning and Architecture had a modest beginning in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. The School is a specialized University, only one of its kind, which exclusively provides training at various levels.
