  • Star Plus

  • STAR Plus is a Hindi language general entertainment television channel based in India. The channel is part of the STAR TV network’s bouquet of channels. Star Plus’ programming primarily consists of family dramas and telefilms. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it is owned by Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd. (MSM, formerly SET India Private Limited), a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment since 1995. SET’s programming is targeted towards family audiences. The programming covers genres including drama, reality, comedy, thriller, horror, Bollywood, and live events. Some of its most successful programmes to date include Boogie Woogie, C.I.D., Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Indian Idol, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, 10 Ka Dum, Aahat and Big Boss.

In March 2005, SAB TV was acquired by Sony Entertainment Television and was transformed into a youth-centric channel. Imagine TV has tied up with Karan Johar, who is the creative consultant and ambassador of the Imagine TV brand.

  • Sahara One is an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in Mumbai. It is operated by Sahara India Pariwar, a company formed by Subrato Roy Sahara who is a managing worker and chairman of the Sahara India Pariwar. Sahara One was launched as Sahara TV on March 28, 2000, but in April 2003, Sahara TV was renamed as Sahara Manoranjan. As to compete with other channels and attract more audience, the channel once again changed its name to Sahara One on October 10, 2004. One of the very popular shows telecasted on Sahara One was Wo Rehne Wali Mehelon Ki.

  • 9X is an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in Mumbai. It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The channel was launched on November 12, 2007 in India. Launched as the flagship of the INX Network, 9X promises to provide world-class fiction and non-fiction programming and Bollywood films. On 10 August 2009, 9X ceased broadcasting in the UK on Freesat and Sky Digital where it had been a free-to-air channel. On 28 October 2010, 9x was officially discontinued from Tata Sky.
