Shilpa Shetty (born 8 June 1975) is an Indian film actress and model. Since making her debut in the film Baazigar (1993), she has appeared in nearly 40 Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, her first leading role being in the 1994 Aag. Her Husband, Raj Kundra (A British Asian born on 9 September 1975), dropped out of college and became an entrepreneur at the age of eighteen. He started his fashion company in the 1990s in London which had an outsourced shawl manufacturings unit in Nepal. He supplied all the major fashion houses in London. In 2004 he made the top 200 richest Asians in Britain list as the youngest entrant.
Shilpa Shetty won the Celebrity Big Brother TV show in 2007 which made her way too famous overseas, Shilpa Shetty married Raj Kundra on 22 November 2009 and announced on her web site that “I am officially Shilpa Shetty Kundra now”. They are a lovely couple and have won the hearts of many people. Shilpa’s younger sister, Shamita Shetty is also a Bollywood actress.
