Studio Payal Jain took root in 1993 after her return to India as a graduate summa cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, San Francisco, U.S.A. Awarded the President’s Honour Roll at the Institute, Payal gained valuable experience working with some prestigious European fashion houses during the course. During her stay in the U.S., Payal also worked at Fritzi California and San Francisco Clothings Bank. Subsequently Payal worked with leading couturiers Jacqueline de Brey and Ulrich Engler in Europe.
